AFA DAY 1

After slacking for so many days..Here's the post for AFA :D

AFA DAY 1 (22/11/08)

Reached dere at around 10.30am wif Cherie :D The queue was sooo long (pre-registered)! Queued for abt 20min and bought the tickets for two days (we have exact cash so we have priviledge to get tickets first). Went into the covenctional hall and walked around. The figurines were AWESOME! This is the first time i've seen so many figurines :D Take photos of dem and proceed to other sections. There was a display of the winners' works for some drawing/mangaka competition. Their works were greaaaaat! If i have a tablet, i would wan to participate in next year's!!! T^T Went to see the section for anime blockbusters. There were code geass, d-grayman, shakugan no shana, skip beat, toradora and casshern sins (I think dat's all). I agree that animes such as code geass, dgrayman and shakugan are blockbusters...but skip beat, toradora and casshern sins are very new animes rite (started in fall 08)? Mayb skip beat can be manga blockbuster but...I just dun get it .__.

Next, we went to the booth selling doushinji and fanart. They were pretty. I wanted to buy a artbook called SEN but...no money! =w= Nvm i will get it in either comic fiesta or EOY. There were many booths selling merchandise and there were alot of ppl crowding and i could hardly get in to see. Sigh. I wish i had brought lots of cash....then it would be a shopping spree! (i'm currently broke...so no shopping for me) There was a mini buffet wif alot of tiramisu. At least the $8 ticket was worth it LOL. The tiramisu was very creamy~~ The buffet was cleared very fast lol. After that we went outside the convectional hall too see the cosplayers. I thought there would be many cosplayers. But anw, I SAW YOITE AND RYUUKI COSPLAYERS! *w* Nosebleed! Haha. Sadly i didn't get a photo of yoite T^T Went to kfc for lunch and shop at suntec city for a while. Otaku house was employing full/part time stuffs. I was happily hoping dat i could get a part time job dere...but they need at least 16 years old. ROAR. Just 2 more months and I WILL BE 16!! Later went back to convenctional hall and walk around and stone (cycle repeats for many times). Went back home at 5.45pm.

I took around 100 pics for the first day LOL. I was shocked by the number too. I will upload some. Sorry for the lousy quality (I'm only using a handphone camera of 3.2 mp + my hands keep shaking =w=) but i tried my best to edit the brightness and contrast wif photoshop. So enjoy :D
